About Us & Our Story
Crafting Safer Spaces
Tania and Anna met on the first day their eldest children started school in September 2022. Fast forward a few years and many coffees, walks and chats later, Glow Collective was born.
Whether it’s a workshop, a mother’s circle, or a retreat day with other like minded collaborators, we hold space to support mums to find and reconnect with their glow, no matter how many years postpartum you are. So whether you have a toddler or a teenager, we want to sit and unpick some of the ongoing challenges we can face as mums.
We want to create safe spaces to talk about motherhood, raise awareness, share knowledge and create spaces to voice and hear the whole spectrum of parenthood experiences.
Our Values
What Shapes What We Do
At the heart of our endeavours

Mum-centric Approach
You are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to understand your needs, challenges and aspirations. Our purpose is to build your confidence, by delivering services and events that build trust and connection.

Dedication
We are passionate about supporting mums. We are constantly exploring this topic, sharing, when appropriate, what we have learnt and looking for ways in which to support your motherhood.

Integrity & Honesty
We are committed to delivering events and services with integrity and transparency. If we can’t be honest, how can we expect you to be too. We believe in being true to ourselves and our work.

Kindness
We want to celebrate our differences and use the time we have together to seek out common ground. Going back to basics of kindness towards others and ourselves.
Your Matrescence Coach
Hi, I’m Anna, a Matrescence coach, lifelong culture nerd, with a strong appetite for learning and a mum navigating the wayward adventure that is parenthood and being a mum.
Studying anthropology (way back when) gave me a healthy appreciation the world around us and how we have more in common than we have differences. Going from studying anthropology, I moved into the Built Environment sector and started working with architecture practices within marketing or business development roles.
Becoming a mother, in 2018, shifted my focus inward but also wider; sparking a deep interest in motherhood as a rite of passage and period of intense change. I’m fascinated by the cultural narratives surrounding motherhood and the way they influence our choices, and our sense of identity and belonging.
In 2024, I trained as a Matrescence coach to turn this curiosity into action. Now, I support mums as they navigate the emotional, mental, and societal shifts that come with this life-changing journey. One such venture in this realm is Glow Collective.
I’ve called London home since 2009, and when I’m not working, I’m spending time with my partner and two girls, volunteering with PANDAS Foundation and building my coaching practice.
- Matrescence Coaching (Mama Rising Accredited Facilitator)
- Level 2 Counselling
- Mental Health First Aider
- Peer Support Worker Qualified
- Volunteer for PANDAS Foundation since 2022.

Need Postpartum Support?
Meet Tania…
I am a postnatal doula, women’s health advocate, teacher, educator and mother of one. I have and continue to experience the many highs and lows of mothering and I am passionate about hearing and sharing all the messy and magical stories of the journey.
I have lived in Hackney for over 20 years and love it here! My time here has been very varied; from working in the City, to almost a decade of teaching foreign languages in secondary schools in and around Hackney and in between times leaving teaching, completing a masters in education, and advising struggling schools nationwide.
In the height of the pandemic, I retrained as a doula and now co-run all things Glow Collective as well as volunteering in a local primary school and for a charity supporting vulnerable pregnant women.
Some recent training related to this work:
- Infant feeding with Sherridan Sytmest of Into Parenthood
- Trauma and social exclusion with Sister Circle
- Doula training with Abuela Doulas (during the pandemic)
- Running a safe birth reflections service – Make Birth Better
