About Us & Our Story
Crafting Safer Spaces
Tania and Anna met on the first day their kids started school in September 2022. Fast forward a few years—and many coffees, walks, and heartfelt conversations later—Glow Collective was born.
Whether it’s a workshop, a mother’s circle, or a retreat day with like-minded collaborators, we create space to support mums in rediscovering and reconnecting with their glow, no matter how many years postpartum they are. So whether you’re parenting a toddler or a teenager, we’re here to explore and unpack some of the ongoing challenges that come with motherhood.
Our aim is to create safer, welcoming spaces where we can talk openly about motherhood, raise awareness, share knowledge, and give voice to the full spectrum of parenting experiences.
Our Values
What Shapes What We Do
At the heart of our endeavours

Mum-centric Approach
You are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to understand your needs, challenges and aspirations. Our purpose is to build your confidence, by delivering services and events that build trust and connection.

Dedication
We are passionate about supporting mums. We are constantly exploring this topic, sharing, when appropriate, what we have learnt and looking for ways in which to support your motherhood.

Integrity & Honesty
We are committed to delivering events and services with integrity and transparency. If we can’t be honest, how can we expect you to be too. We believe in being true to ourselves and our work.

Kindness
We want to celebrate our differences and use the time we have together to seek out common ground. Going back to basics of kindness towards others and ourselves.
Your Matrescence Coach
Hi, I’m Anna—a Matrescence coach, culture enthusiast, and mum of two, living in London since 2009.
My journey into coaching began long before I knew that’s where I was headed. I studied anthropology, which sparked a curiosity about people, culture, and the stories we tell ourselves. After university, I spent years working in the built environment sector, supporting architecture practices in marketing and business development roles.
Then, in 2018, I became a mum—and everything shifted. Motherhood opened up a whole new world of questions, emotions, and thoughts. I became deeply interested in how we experience motherhood, how society talks about it (or doesn’t), and how those narratives shape us.
In 2024, I trained as a Matrescence coach to support other mums through this powerful, often messy, and transformative period. Through one-to-one coaching and community projects like Glow Collective, I support mums feel seen and heard as they navigate the many layers of parenthood.
When I’m not coaching or doing my part-time role, you’ll find me with my partner and two girls, volunteering with the PANDAS Foundation, or enjoying a good book or Aperol Spritz!
My experience includes:
- Matrescence Coaching (Mama Rising Accredited Facilitator)
- Make Birth Better Birth Trauma Training Programme
- Level 2 Counselling
- Mental Health First Aider
- Peer Support Worker Qualified and run a peer support group with the organisation I work with since Jan 2025
- Volunteer for PANDAS Foundation since 2022.

Need Postpartum Support?
Meet Tania…
I am a postnatal doula, women’s health advocate, teacher, educator and mother of one. I have and continue to experience the many highs and lows of mothering and I am passionate about hearing and sharing all the messy and magical stories of the journey.
I have lived in Hackney for over 20 years and love it here! My time here has been very varied; from working in the City, to almost a decade of teaching foreign languages in secondary schools in and around Hackney and in between times leaving teaching, completing a masters in education, and advising struggling schools nationwide.
In the height of the pandemic, I retrained as a doula and now co-run all things Glow Collective as well as volunteering in a local primary school and for a charity supporting vulnerable pregnant women.
Some recent training related to this work:
- Infant feeding with Sherridan Sytmest of Into Parenthood
- Trauma and social exclusion with Sister Circle
- Doula training with Abuela Doulas (during the pandemic)
- Running a safe birth reflections service – Make Birth Better
