Telling Stories, Sharing Honestly

Becoming a mum is one of life’s most profound life transitions, and yet we rarely talk openly and honestly about the realities of becoming and being a mum. Regardless of your journey and whether you’re pregnant, a new mum, or navigating toddlerhood and beyond, welcome.

Postpartum Support

Postnatal doula support through the magic and the mess of the early postpartum period. Whatever your needs.

We are two mums who are passionate about normalising and talking openly about all things motherhood and Matrescence.

In this day and age, we are all conditioned by society to meet so many…unrealistic…expectations. And these expectations fall heavily on women, unfortunately. Especially us women, who go on to become mothers. There are so many things we are expected to simply just achieve…like a box-ticking exercise. It’s not right, it’s unfair and it’s really unhealthy to have such pressures on vulnerable women, who are going through something as profound as matrescence.

What Anna is able to offer is an incredible insight and support mechanism, which allows women a safe space to re-align themselves, their struggles and/or their values with what really matters, not with what is expected by our society. Expect the unexpected…knowing that you will come out of this a stronger woman and mother.

Tania was the support I didn’t know I needed. Her work with me postpartum didn’t only nurture me physically and spiritually, it made the transition into motherhood less lonely. She single-handedly brought the ‘it takes a village’ feeling to my family life. She’s a very non-judgemental, discreet soul, and brings humour and perspective to the table when you most need it. If in doubt about whether you need this type of support, yes is the answer.

Lovely group of mums and nice set up and content allowed for good engagement.

Anna is such a warm and kind person. She brought a great wealth of skills and experience to the sessions and made me feel seen. Her work is emotional and practical. She gave me the space to think, and open up about things I never usually talked about but without any pressure to do so and I feel lighter and more hopeful since the coaching. I’m looking forward to continuing to put the ideas we found into practice.

I am so grateful for Tania and the incredible support she provided throughout my pregnancy and birth, even from a distance. I live in the US and despite being remote, she was always available to answer my questions, offering guidance and reassurance via video calls, messages, and phone support. She helped me create a detailed and personalized birth plan, ensuring I understood all my options and felt confident going into labor. Her calming presence, even virtually, made me feel empowered and informed at every step of the process. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this journey. Thank you, Tania, for your unfaltering support and expertise—you truly made a difference!

Tania was invaluable during my pregnancy and during the early days of becoming a mum. My labour and following few months did not go as I hoped, I was very unwell during labour suffering maternal sepsis, and subsequently getting diagnosed with PND. During that time, Tania was a lifeline. She was a non judgemental supporter, she would listen, give emotional and practical advice as well as reassure and comfort. Tania truly cared about the wellbeing of both me and my baby, and as a new mother, making me feel confident, empowered, listened to and supported, made such a difference. Her wisdom and faith in me gave me the confidence to trust my instincts, I’m forever grateful to have had her by my side during that time.

Anna’s kindness and empathy shone through every session. She has helped me see that being a ‘good enough mother’ is a massive achievement and a positive, rather than an imperfection.

Tania was a very comforting and practical support during my wife’s postpartum period. As a dad, it was a relief to know someone else was there to think of my wife’s, and our family’s, wellbeing, and it wasn’t all on me. From cooking meals and leaving them in the fridge for us, to popping round with tea, cake, painkillers, pads… anything that my wife needed before either of us realised she did.
